send notification(or mail) when tickets are created with a specific condition

Hello

I want to send notification for a user specified with the condition issue type = Task and Priority = High. Currently, notification scheme only support assign for user when issue type created, system will send email for user. Can you help me resolve this issue.

Several plugins allow you to send emails via a post function in a workflow. Off the top of my head Jira Misc Workflow Extensions and Jira Workflow Toolbox both offer this. I'm sure Jira Enterprise Mail Handler could as well.

With one of those you can fire a custom notification on the create transition in your workflow based on those conditions.
