start progress tranisition button is not displaying in Ticket

I have given the issue type  'Task'  and my requirement only project manager and production user roles have to see. I have added users in a group condition on workflow. but when I create the ticket start progress status button is missing in the view screen.

Please, can you help me with this...

You may also want to check if the user has permission to transition the issue. 

You may use the Permission helper tool :

It might be able to give you a hint on why the user is not able to transition.

Are you saying YOU cannot see it? If so, make sure you are in that same group or role in order to have access to the transition. Are the project manager and production users seeing the button?

If you are not able to see the transition button, there is only 2 possibilities

1. There is no such transition with associated workflow for that issue type

2. There might be a condition added to "Start Progress" transition button. if so, can you check whether you are falling under correct role/group condition configured in that transition

1. user is in any role. (JSU)

2. User is in Project role
