I just noticed today that the tagged individual names in the Comments portion of my Jira issues are not showing. For example, if the sentence is "@ Lacey what do you think?" The comments are removing the @ and the persons name so the comment pane is only showing "what do you think?" and you cant see who was tagged unless you click on the comment to edit it. Anyone else having this issue?
Hi Lacey,
I think this has been reported by several Jira users recently, and it appears to be affecting both Jira Cloud and Jira Server/Data Center instances. (I've come across something similar in the past in the community).
I found that sometimes clearing browser cache could help.
I'll try and find Atlassian's issue tracker and see if this is in the reported bugs and share.
Thank you! I just checked today and the tagged names are now showing so it appears to be corrected.

@Dimitris Sylligardakis if you happen to find the issue tracker, will you please let me know? I would love to save the link and be able to see when bugs are reported and not have to ask the entire community if others are experiencing the same issues. Thank you!

Do you know if person that is trying to do the tagging is in a group that is part of the Browse users and groups global permission?
Here's an article from Atlassian that may help: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-global-permissions/
