the emails that events trigger come late to users

After using a transition , it sends an email to some users, i have a problem becuase that mails come late (5 hours later) to the users.

is there a way JIRA sends email quickly?

Check the JIRA mail queue.

Consider opening a support issue with Atlassian.

This can happen due to misconfiguration of the server or if your email provider is throttling your emails. It has several causes, but this is not usually a 'JIRA' problem per say. JIRA normally sends emails immediately. I suspect JIRA is sending them normally and they are getting caught up elsewhere.
