to do Status

I really need help.  I am in the UK and it is 11:30pm.  I cannot get my issues to show up in the TO DO column.  I have the TO DO status in the workflow however none of the issues are showing up at all.  I cannot think what I am doing wrong.  Please any assistance would be great.  Thanks.

Ok, run through some of the obvious questions (some of which I know you'll have checked already)

• Do you have at least one issue in the To-do status
• What type of project are we looking at?  Company-managed or team-managed (you can see it at the bottom left of the project display)
• If it is a company-managed project, your board will have configuration settings, can you check 
  • What the board filter is (in general settings in the board config)
  • What the column mappings are (in "columns"
  • And if you have the backlog turned on
