The tomcat5.exe*32 process continues to grow and chews up memory. We haven't had this problem in the past but it is now becoming a serious issue. Can anybody provide some guidance on how to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Gloria,

Judging by the name you are using an earlier version of Tomcat, consequently very likely it is an old version of one of our products. Most commonly the symptoms you explained is caused by a memory leak. I'd suggest upgrading to a newer version of Tomcat and JDK, including the software you use.

If you want an immediate solution, you'd need to look what plugins/additions you installed recently that may have caused this behavior.

Otherwise, you are always welcome to open a support ticket with us at http://support.atlassian.com where we can assist you debugging the problem.

Kind regards,

Peter
