unable to save fixVersion field at Close Transition

Hi,

I am unable to save fixVersion field at Close Transition. I can edit the fixversion field at close transition. But it is not saving it when I enter the fixversion on the close screen.

Some more background: It's only happening for one issue type, the other issue type in the same project is working as expected. And no one ( not only me) is able to save the fixVersion in this issuetype . 

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you check if you don't have any automation or post function which clear fix version for this field?

There are some post functions but none is clearing this field at close transition. And as i said its just happening for one issue type whereas for the other issue type its working fine and saving the fixVersion entered at close transition.

ok somehow there was a post function wrongly mapped which was clearing the fixVersion on close.. it was supposed to clear fixversion on reopen transition. Got the issue. Thanks!

Hi @Deepti Hasija ,

based on your scenario, it seems that fix version is on the close screen but it will not appear on the ticket after a closure. First of all you need to check if fixVersion field was not hidden in the related Field Configuration Scheme associated to your project/issue type.

Please could you perform this check?

FixVersion field is visible on the close screen and after it is closed the field is visible too, it's just not saving the value we enter during the close transition. It just goes blank and doesnt save what is entered.
