unable to see Date on time log in free version

we are using free version of jira. we are using jira time tracking but while doing time log we are not able to see the date option to select.

kindly help us on this.

Where are you not seeing the date option?  Could you explain what your people are clicking on and then give us a screenshot of what they are getting that you think should have a date on it?

Thanks for the response. 

Select log work option and we could see the field to enter the hours in time spent but we couldn't see the date option. Here i have attached the screenshot.

kindly look into this.

After you start typing in the time information (e.g., Time spent) the date fields will appear below for optional entry.
