use product discovery as templates

Is there a way to use it as a template for the team-managed project? i want a specific idea to be auto-generated whenever i use this template

You cannot clone or copy a team managed project, as it is designed to be used on itself, in isolation. There is a feature request for such functionality that you can track here: JRACLOUD-78729. But you will see that the recommendation to share settings is to use company managed projects, which - unfortunately - is not what Jira Product Discovery is offering.

However, reading what you want to do makes me wonder if you are thinking about the right solution to a problem. Automatically generating an idea goes against the concept of an idea as a whole - an idea usually is something unique. And I don't really see the use case for creating Jira Product Discovery projects for every idea you may want to track.

So, can you explain in detail what problem you are trying to solve here?
