user group picker

M April 10, 2014

Hi there,

I've a simple question concerning custom filed 'user picker'.

I have 2 projects, and a custom user picker field displayed all user from both project 1 & 2. But i want in the context of the Project1 to see only user from project 1.

I thought it was native from Jira, but as i understand, i need to install the plugin User group Picker.

Is it right or i miss something?

Thanks in advance.

No, you're right. The user-picker field in Jira has no "context", it just lists all the users in Jira. There's no selection context.

There are a few user-pickers that have more context, and yes, you are looking for a plugin.

Hi Nic, thanks for your answer. I searched in the Jira support database, and i found that : in the 6.2 Jira, it seems to be included as a standard function.
