@username Mention Notification Emails

Hi guys, 

I would like to append some content onto the end of the @ mentioned emails that Jira sends out. Is this possible? 

If not, can we replace these emails with Automation. From a search of the support forums I can see how to search the comment body for a mention but not sure how to then use that to trigger an email to the mentioned user(s).
