Using JIRA (8.5.2 server) mail handler which is configured to a specific to email address for mail handling. I would like to pre-fill issue type & assignee. Both are already defined within the creation process, so nothing needed for that part.

My question - I'm looking for an easy way to write a specific hard value into the label field for everything that comes in via this specific mail handler.

@Bob Vasey you would have to use an automation, scriptrunner or JSU to add a label on issue creation.  There is no way to add it using the mail handler.

Ok, I’ve setup scriptrunner and created a mail handler, the initial creation works fine but the updates after the initial does not work unless I put the key value into the subject field.
