using different security schemas for Jira projects

Can I use different Security schemas for one Jira project?

I want to have diffenent default settings for security level, dependent on issue type.

Hi,

no, you can't. A Security scheme depends on a user / group / project role and is assigned to an issue. It's not possible to restrict a security level to an issue type or set different defaults depending on the issue type.
