velocity in release burndown doesn't match values in velocity chart

this is the velocity chart for the board, showing the last 3 sprints velocity, hovering around 300-350h/sprint:

however the velocity used for the release burndown doesn't seem to line up with that:

is the release burndown velocity only taking stories into account that had the respective fixversion applied or is the velocity of all stories in the sprint used?

The velocity should be matching everything you have marked as done during the sprint.  Given the numbers you've shown us, I would expect to see 337 hours worth of issues in the last column of your board when you ended the sprint.  Releases are a little different, I'd want to look at all the issues you've flagged as released.
