we are already using Server licenses to upgrade from Jira Server to Jira Data Center, and they are expiring in July '23 and we need to EVALUATE. To make sure there will be no issue when we renew & upgrade to Data Center in July

Yes, as @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ mentioned you can generate trial DataCenter licenses but encourage you to do those tests on a test system. Please keep in mind also that trial would be in unlimited user tier and if you use any plugins those might still work but ideally you should also evaluate every plugin (check if DC version is available and use it)

2) What do we do if we want to renew our license to Data Center version
