what to do if the ticket stuck between priorities?

i have medium priority ticket which is having 1 hr time left. and at the same time i got a highest priority ticket which have 1hr time. if i take highest priority ticket the medium priority ticket will get expire, what to do? if i take medium priority ticket the highest priority ticket will get expire then what i shoud do? which ticket i should take and what to do with another ticket?

Hi @Vivek Challa , this really is a question that should be dealt with within your company. With that said, if it were me here is my approach:

  1. try to get both done within the hour if not possible...
  2. check with the vested parties of the recent Highest priority issue to see if it is indeed Highest. If it really is high or even medium then complete the work on the Medium issue. If the new Highest truly is Highest then...
  3. Discuss with management to explain the dilemma. Maybe there is someone else that can assist with one of the issues.
