where does the scrum roadmap gantt pull the start date?

Hi! I'm wondering how the roadmap view in the scrum board is configured. I see we have a due date field, but no start date. Where does it pull? can we make a field for it?

Are you working with a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project?

In a Team Managed project you need to add your own Start Date field.

In a Company Managed project there may already be a custom Start Date field for your instance that has not been added to the configuration for the project. In that case you just need to add the field. If no such field exists then you need to create it.

Note, though, that in a Standard subscription the bar for an issue assigned to a sprint will show as the same dates as the sprint, regardless of whether you have specific start and end date for the issue itself.
