Hello,

I suspect that you have the Account field from the Tempo Timesheets add-on. This field is set as required in the settings of the Tempo Timesheets add-on.

You should either change the settings in the Tempo Timesheets or add the Account field to the screen scheme for the Story issue type.

That suggests you probably have a custom field called "account" which you have flagged as mandatory, but not filled in when creating the issue (possibly because you have not put it on the create screen?)

The lock will not make it mandatory, that's not the place fields are made mandatory.

  1. Check the field configuration for the project and issue type
  2. Check Alexey's answer!
