Hi Daniel,

While whiteboards is a feature in Confluence, you do have the ability to view a Confluence whiteboard directly in the work item view in Jira.

You have a few options:

  1. Creating a Confluence whiteboard via the +Add button -> New Confluence Whiteboard
    1. You will still need to specify a space in which to create the new whiteboard
    2. Once created, you will get a "Confluence content" section in the work item with the whiteboard on it, which opens an edit view of that whiteboard when clicked.
  2. Adding an existing whiteboard via the +Add button -> Add existing Confluence content
    1. Paste in the URL of the existing whiteboard into the "Search content" select
    2. This will give you the same edit view as in 1.
  3. If you only want a read-only view of a whiteboard in that work item, you can simply paste the URL of the whiteboards page into the description field, which will expand into a read-only view of that pasted whiteboard.

@Daniel Bermudez

At this time you can only use it with Jira.  Everything will need to be done in Confluence, there is not a way to open the application in Jira.  Here is some documentation on how it works with Jira. https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/NEW-Confluence-whiteboards-for-Jira/ba-p/2633331
