workflow shared by 2 projects: how remove one project

Simona Cristaldi June 16, 2022

Hello,

I have 2 projects that have in common all workflows. I have the necessity to change the workflow of only one project. how can I remove the link between the 2 projects to be able to change only one workflow without any impact on the other project?

I also have the same issue with the issue types..

thank you

hi @Simona Cristaldi , welcome to the community. Basically what do you want to do is have a separate workflow. You can make a copy of the existing workflow give it a new name and change it as desired then associate it to your specific project.

Hi Simona - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You will need to create a new workflow and place it in a new workflow scheme.

Then you update the project to use the new workflow scheme. That will remove it from sharing the workflows with the other project.
