(/), (x) no longer working in Jira

Hi all,

sorry if this is a stupid question but it has been eating half of my workday already, it used to be that with the text commands (x) and (/) you could create icons inside your textfields resembling an X and a checkmark. Starting Friday I had complaints coming in that this didn't work anymore for certain projects and now it isn't working for any of the projects any longer.
I haven't touched any of the field configurations.
Since those icons are heavily used by some departments in my company, it would be great if you guys could point me in the direction of how to adress this.

Not sure if you use a Server or Cloud versions but overall I did not hear that this will be removed. Sound like something wrong with the plugins that are responsible for rendering. Only those those are not working or whole wiki markup?

Hi, thanks for coming back to me. We are using the Cloud Version.
I just checked and the wiki style renderer is still active.

Hmm.. I just checked on our side (Cloud) and those wiki notations are still there and working fine. I suggest you to contact directly Atlassian Support for assistance. They can verify what is going.
