One use case for Loom meeting recordings is to record a meeting for yourself when you are unable to attend so that you will receive a meeting recap via email.
However, I noticed that if there is a meeting in my Meetings list in Loom that is already set to be recorded by another person, the meeting is marked as such and I am unable to set it to record for myself.
Is this the intended behavior, and I need to hope that the other person shares the recap? Or should 2 different people be able to record the same meeting using Loom?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Brad!
Thanks for sharing this great question 🙌
Typically, only one person per workspace can be set to record each meeting in order to avoid duplicate recordings. When a meeting is recorded by someone in your workspace, on default each invitee in your workspace will receive the recap email and access to the video.
However, you can always click the "record now" button from your loom.com/meetings tab once the meeting starts in order to send your bot, too.
Here's a screenshot I took with Loom to show you: https://www.loom.com/i/9487ac532ee34d8cae4f464dab0cd211
