Help Needed: Atlassian Marketplace App Search Ranking Decrease

Hello! I work as a marketer for a product listed on the Atlassian Marketplace. Today, I noticed that its position in the search results has significantly dropped. Has anyone else encountered this issue and knows how to cope with it?

I think it's related to the new naming policy, and the SEO has changed because of that.

Some weeks (maybe months) ago, Atlassian switched the search engine used the marketplace. The most visible change should be the search suggestions when you type in a keyword, but I would not be surprised if the ranking parameters also changed.

Without having checked this recently: I believe you can still use the marketplace API to compare the old search rankings with the new one in the UI. 

As for what goes into a ranking – I really cannot say. Atlassian has an article on this here: https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/marketplace-search-results-and-rankings/ However, I'm unsure if the information in there already reflects recent changes.
