(I previously asked this on the adaptavist community forum but no answer there for a year).
I have followed the instructions for JUnit integration https://plugins.jenkins.io/tm4j-automation and can create test cycles w testcase pass/fails in my TM4J cloud instance from the tm4j_result.json.
I would like to add useful information to the test cycle (eg, "release 1.1.5 on iOS 10") in the name / description / environment properties, and I've had a go at post parsing the file to add those fields (based on the API details https://docs.adaptavist.io/tm4j/cloud/api/v2/#operation/createTestCycle )
The TestPublisher always fails if I add extra information. How can I set the test cycle description and environment for automated test runs using the TestPublisher?
You'll probably have the best chance of getting an answer directly from SmartBear, who bought TM4J. https://smartbear.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals
