Adding a time series into the rich filter gadget

I'm trying to set up the time series in the rich filter gadget and when I try to find the custom date field under the Series dropdown, i cant find a few date picker custom fields that i want to add into the time series. Any idea why i cant seem to find all the date picket fields?

This can happen for one of the following two reasons:

• your field does not have any searcher set
  OR
• you use a date field / searcher provided by a 3rd party app that we don’t currently support.

We provide support for the native Jira searchers and for some of the searchers provided by popular 3rd party apps. Please make sure you use a supported searcher.
