Adding custom checklists through the API

Hello

I'm making a small tool that will insert multiple issues into JIRA at once.

For some of these issues I would like to insert a few checkboxes. Can this be done? These are checkboxes specific to that single issue, so I don't want the same checkboxes to appear anywhere else.

Hi Peter,

You should be able to modify the checklist programmatically from your tool if you can access the JIRA CustomField API. This post may provide you with some highlights. Let me know if you need more help.
