Are there recommendations for an email template plugin for Confluence that allows plaintext?

My team would like to be able to customize system-generated email notifications from Confluence using plaintext for the content.  We are looking for a similar product to ones used with JIRA - we use TemplateMe! for those notifications.

Any recommendations for the Confluence side?
