CRM Concact List: Questions about customizing

Hi,

i found the CRM Contact List Addon and it looks really nice to me. But there is one big point, why i cant really use it. For every new contact i need a Email adress. But not all my contacts have one. So i need to change Email as not requird. I'm also not so happy to safe the first and surename in one field. Is there an option to change the default fields?

An other thing is that I want to save the birthday in a format to create a list and import them into an outlook calender. Is there a simple option for that?
