Can bonfire be used to test/QA applications that are not web-based?

We are looking for a Plugin/Tool to use with JIRA that allows to create test campaigns for an in-house application that is not web-based.

Is there any way to use Bonfire?

Hi there,

You can certainly use Bonfire for Q/A'ing anything, although it will miss the convenience of being able to create a ticket whilst looking at the thing that you are testing because Bonfire is only available for use in the browser. Of course this doesn't mean that you couldn't still use Bonfire for the ease and convenience, but much of the functionality would be lost becasue Bonfire can only screenshot things in the browser and not on the screen itself. So, Bonfire probably isn't the most appropriate tool, but it does provide a simple method for creating tickets in JIRA so you should probably test the workflow and see how it works for you.
