Checking the date time field for the weekend

Hello, everyone!

How can I implement a validator on a script runner that would check a field of the datetime type with the day of the week, if there is a day off (Saturday or Sunday), then the application cannot be created. Does anyone know how this can be implemented?

I will be glad of any help!
