Comment not added when I create linked issue.

I created a fairly simply automation to add a comment when an issue is linked.

There are 2 ways to link an issue in the kabob menu, as shown in the screenshot below. 

1. Create linked issue - When I choose this and create the new issue and link it in one step, the automation doesn't trigger and no comment is added to the trigger issue. 
2. Link - When I choose this and link an existing issue, the automation is triggered and a comment is added as expected.  

Here's a screenshot showing that when I created the linked issue "PROD-398091", no comment was added by the Automation plugin. 

Is there a way to trigger this automation and comment on the trigger issue when I select to create a linked issue?

Hi Simon,

Sorry to hear this isn't working for you.  My initial tests of the "Create Linked Issue" seem to work. I think we need to dig a bit deeper into what is happening in your particular setup.

Would it be possible for you to raise a support request with us and include your instance url and we can take a look at what is happening?
