Component and Bundle Versions for JIRA

Currently I evaluate the Component and Bundle Version Addon for JIRA which gives you the possiblity to connect components with version.

I'm able to set everything up but when creating an issue I can also select versions that are not connected to component. If I go to the created issue it highlights it red - that's ok. Also the inline change works.

What could be the problem?

JIRA Version: 6.1.6

Add On - Version: 1.4.2

I have the same problem. Also noticed when you are in an admin layout (e.g. projects -> administration, or user management etc...) create issue shows only project and issue type. After click next you can set the rest of the issue of course, but at that time the mapping does not work, I can select versions which are not bundled to that component. Same problem as Markus wrote.
When I'm not in an admin layout the plugin and the mapping works perfectly.
