I note that the new Content Scheduler plugin creates shortcut links in with the prefix:
which differs from the Confluence detault:
I wondered what the implication of this was if you ever stopped using the plugin in the future? Will any links you've published break?
We've implemented the shortcut links feature to allow users to link to content that has not been created yet. After the content has been published, users will be able to use both links to access the content.
If you uninstall the plugin, the shortcut links of the Content Scheduler will not work anymore, though the default Confluence links will always keep working.
Hope this helps
Thanks Remo -- Unfortunate that the link breaks, but expected.
I guess as a wishlist item it would be great to use the Atlassian link-syntax -- not sure if they will help out with hooks to allow that/etc.

Yes, I agree. We tried to use the internal link syntax of Confluence, but the tiny links of Confluence are actually just an advanced hash of the page id, which sadly we don't know before the content has been published... So it just wasn't possible.
