Tracking how much time (days, weeks etc) has been spend per column would be a great JQL query to have for my team.
Hello @Akbar Moinuddin
Time in Status for Jira Cloud becomes helpful in your case. This add-on generates a report, that shows how long an issue has been staying in each status. There will be time data for each column (status).
So you can track how long it takes your colleagues to solve each task easily. You will get all data in both Graphs and Charts view - which is very convenient.
If you have any additional questions, I'm here to help you.
Best regards, Mariana
Hi @Akbar Moinuddin ,
Unfortunately, status time is not a built-in functionality in Jira. To display status time, you can search for apps in the marketplace. Our team at Bloompeak develped Status Time app for the exact need.
It displays time spent on each status based on a calendar(7/24 or working hours). That is once you enter your working calendar into the app, in progress time of an issue opened at 5 PM on Friday and closed at 9 AM on Monday will be calculated as a few hours rather than 3 days.
Here is the online demo link. You can see it in action and try. Hope it helps.
