Creating test cycle in TM4J

on the test cycle page, the New button is greyed out for me. how do I activate it so I can create a test cycle

Hi @Emmanuel Awoniyi Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
To create a Test cycle, you need to have "Create" permissions in the Test Management for test Cycle on the project. To add the permissions, navigate to your Project -> Project settings -> Test Management and include permissions for the relevant actions (E.g. Test case, test cycle etc.) -> screenshot below
