Hi,
Our team has been enjoying using the timesheet plugin so far. And we mainly have one issue here: the column for work description is quite narrow on the display (esp. when we use projector during team review meetings), which discouraged the team members to put details when logging work. Is there anyway to customize the column width?
Thanks and Regards
Zhenning
Hi Zhenning,
Sorry, no, it's not possible to customize columns width. Though I have just tried to slightly improve columns width - make issue summary and worklog comment take the most. This will be in 2.4.3 available soon.
Thank you.
Hi,
It is not a 'problem' actually. Just because the column width is narrow, the row with long work log comment turns to be very long which makes it inconvenient to review during a team meeting. Developers told me that this sometimes actually discoverage them to put long comment there. So it would be nice if we can customize the column width.

Hi Zhenning,
You may edit timesheet-entry.vm, look for 'comment', and remove width=50% for the td element.
You can patch plugin jar using jar, e.g. jar xf jira-timesheet-pluign-x.x.jar templates/timesheetreport/timesheet-entry.vm, and then jar uf jira-timesheet-pluign-x.x.jar templates/timesheetreport/timesheet-entry.vm, then you need to reinstall plugin.
Also I will change this in next plugin version for long term.
Thank you.

Hi Zhenning,
I'm trying this case, and don't see any problem with long work log comment. Could you please provide screen shot to clarify it?
Thank you.
