Dashboard Distribution plugin -- groups setting?

Could you explain the "Only distribute the shared dashboards created by the following groups (comma separated list)" setting a little more? What does "created by the following groups" mean? Groups don't create dashboards. Is that supposed to say "created by people in the following groups"? Or "shared with the following groups"? The former would be awesome, though I'm guessing the latter is what's meant?

Finally got the plugin working, and it looks like the behavior is the former, "created by people in the following groups" :)
