I've been pleased with Capacity Tracker's functionality, but the one limitation I have run up against is for my team members who live in a different country but are working on the same project as the rest of the team. Time zones can be set per user, which is helpful, but for these international team members they have different holidays, and so the "Team Holidays" that are set for the group are not accurate for them. However, since they are working on the same project, I do not want to track their capacity separately (i.e., on a different project or board), which is the only way I have figured out to get around this limitation. Is there any hidden setting I'm missing to account for different holidays for different team members working on the same project?
Hey Eric,
We're glad that you like Capacity Tracker! and thanks for your feedback on the regional days off.
Unfortunately Jira doesn't provide us the country of the user, so it is very complicated and error prone to implement a feature that maps user timezone, country/countries and their regional days off. We have a workaround though - You can make a use of user (individual) days off instead of global team holidays to capture the region/country specific settings.
At the moment there is no elegant and efficient design or solution available to handle this Jira complexity, however we will keep this in our backlog to be reviewed in future iterations.
