We recently upgraded to premium to use the "Reset approvals when the source branch is modified" functionality, however this seems to reset the approvals even when the source branch is caught up with its target, which for us doesn't work. I'd like to only reset approvals when the branch is modified in any other way than being caught up. Is there an option to do this? I understand the use case for the current functionality, it's just not a good fit for us.
We have additional checks that will prevent merging if a build fails after it has been caught up, which is why I would like the approval to remain in this case.
