Does a user need create permission in both projects - cloning and moving (ScriptRunner)

Hi,

I’m using ScriptRunner on a transition post-function in the Jira workflow to clone and link issues. Actually I’m automatically cloning and moving the issue to another project.

Could you please tell if a user who is performing the transition needs to have a create permission in both projects?

To move an issue from project A to project B, the user must have "move" permission in A, and "create" in B.  (They do NOT need create in A, or move in B)
