Does this add-on allow creating issues in next-gen projects?

I am able to connect this app to Slack and Jira and create issues from Slack in classic projects.

I'm also able to connect it to one of my next-gen projects, but I can't seem to create issues. When I use the simple command:

/jira create :summary Test issue 

I get the following error message:

My only guess as to why this is the case is because it is one of the Jira "next-gen" projects and perhaps since they don't seem to have the concept of "Screens", it doesn't work.

Any one else running into this problem?
