Does this add on support group access?

Case: All documents related to project will be stored in JIRA including financial documents, Group "Finance" needs access to project documents related to finance, Group "Users" should not be able to see financial documents for the project.

Hi Vanessa.  Sorry for the late reply.  I am meant to get notification of questions but it hasn't been working.  

The answer to your question is that access to add documents can be restricted by user group.  After that all users for a project where a document is attached can view the document.  So if users of group Finance are the only ones that have access to Issues in a project then they will be the only ones that can view the documents.  If the users from the group Users (who are not in Finance) also have access to that project then they will also be able to see the documents.
