Downgrade team calendars version 5.5.0 to 5.3.19

Attempted to uninstall new version of team calendar and downgrade to the version that we still have a license for 5.3.19.  Keeps giving an unexpected error and to check the logs. But I don't see anything in the logs.. Anyone have generate guidance on how to downgrade?
