Drag and Drop add-on extension doesnt display image in comment

I have just added the JIRA Drag and Drop Files extension and have been attempting to attach an image in the comments.  All i am getting is !spock.jpg|thumbnail! and the image still appears under the attachments.  is there something i need to configure so that the images put into the comments appear in the comments?  I am not using onDemand, im using JIRA Server.

Are you by chance trying to do this with Service Desk issues? I have the same problem, but it only manifests itself with Service Desk issue comments.
