Get TM4J executed test steps with Groovy

I am trying to create a scripted field to pull status of test steps from a test cycle that is linked to a JIRA issue. Example: I have created a JIRA issue with test cycle linked into it and the test cycle has few tests from TM4J pool. I started executing few tests Is there a way to get the status of steps in each test of the cycle using Groovy? I tried to find more information on com.kanoah.testmanager.service.publicservice.IssueLinkPublicService package, but I could only find 2 groovy/java examples and none of them are useful for my needs. Your help is very much appreciated.
