An nFeed cascading dropdown has been created for my Service Desk project. As part of stats collection I am trying to write a query that allows me to find values recorded as part of this field based on the text it begins with.
e.g "Option,Second Option,Third Option,*"
However, when I do so. The search term I enter clears.
The results for this field are a table with rows in the thousands and I would prefer to not have to enter every possible permutation.
Hi Jeffrey!
You should create two custom fields with a dependency.
First is a Jira one with a typed text you need. And second is a nFeed field which based on the first one and retrieves the data started from its text. Additionaly you are able to type text in live and nFeed will change querid data.
Hope I understood your need correctly ;)
With regards
Vyacheslav
