How do I dynamically generate a issue link using scriptrunner?

I am looking to send an email to our internal users and need to use the Issue URL instead of the portal URL , how can i achieve that using scriptrunner, I am new to groovy so any help would be great!

Hello, 

I would recommend checking out this community question. 

In short, you can build a URL and create a link that will go to your issue using the baseUrl and 'issue.key'. That post explains it in a bit more detail. 

If you can't get something to work, send me whatever code you currently have and a screenshot of the settings you're using and I'll help you out from there. :)

Thank you Jenna, Is there a resource/repository where I can find different elements that i can populate in scriptrunner using groovy? 

I would be highly interested to help out populating a list so people who do not know to code/use code could use Scriptrunner effectively.
