How's the change in authentication for Outlook add-ins affecting Microsoft 365 for Jira?

I'm wondering whether the upcoming change by Microsoft, removing some legacy authentication methods for Outlook add-ins might affect the Microsoft 365 for Jira plus-in (see link)?
