How to add Test Cycle column to custom query

susan skinner June 23, 2013

I created a basic JIRA query to pull all issues with type=test and am trying to add the test cycle column to the report results......many Zephyr fields do not appear in drop down of fields to chose to display. What am I missing here? This tool is of very little value if I cannot write and display comprehensive queries.

Hi Susan,

Thank you for your input on how Zephyr for JIRA could be imporved. As for API's and Queries, we as a company are aware that folks are looking for this feature. Because of it, it is something we are working on to add to a coming release. However until further notice Zephyr for JIRA will not support API's.

Although this feature is not available in Zehyr for JIRA currently, and if you are looking for this feature to be avalable now, our Zephyr Enterprise and Community Editions both support the full use of API's. We not only have it documented very well but we also have snippets of code to get customers started. You can view what we have set up in our developer zone on our support page:

http://developer.yourzephyr.com/

Not only are API's fully functional in Zephyr Enterprise/Community Editions but both Editions are also very tightly integrated with JIRA and JIRA OnDemand.

Kind Regards,

Emily
