Confluence , Zen plugin and Google Analytics
How to add the google analytics plugin in the Confluence page header,I tried :
Browse > Confluence Admin > 'Look and Feel' - Custom HTML > Edit
Through this page, insert your javascript where you want. In this case, at 'end of the HEAD'.
Since am using Zen plugin, in the end result web page the the added script is somehow removed, i believe using custom plugin overrides the default settings (so my goggle anlytics script is not present, even i have checked that thru view source option).
For Space, where Zen plugin is not used, it works perfectly fine for me.
Could you please help me out with a step so that i can add the script in the header of all pages my my portal..
Hi,
We have Zen and Confluence on developers.atlassian.com. Our GA script goes At the end of the BODY --- have you tried that?

Hi R K,
Zen works with GA as described here: http://www.stepstonetech.com/display/help/Adding+Google+Analytics
As Mary indicated, you simply need to move that GA code to the "At the end of the body" section.

"You are correct. Under Browse > Confluence Admin > 'Look and Feel' - Custom HTML > Edit, we place the GA at the end of the page."
Have you tried this with Zen plugin , did that worked.
When i tried to put in the End of Header, the script is missing when the page is rendered:(
Any idea

If it works in Confluence base theme but not when your Zen theme is enabled, the problem could be in Zen. Have you sent a note to their support team or checked their forums?

Hi,
You mean to say that in
Browse > Confluence Admin > 'Look and Feel' - Custom HTML > Edit
apply the GA script in the End of the body option.
Please correct me if understanding is wrong??
